#229 Low Angle or Low Perspective Shot
Created by SteveBee
Hosted by mrsawyer
Shoot whatever subject you want from a low perspective or, a low angle (not the same thing). For either type shot use a camera height no more than 1 foot (30 cm) above the ground (or floor). A low perspective can be used to create leading lines, to add depth to an image, to shoot towards a less distracting background, to exaggerate the size of objects, etc. The use of shorter focal length, i.e., wide angle, is recommended. Also, it must be apparent that the photo was taken from a low angle by including elements in the image that clearly show the camera is close to the ground. [The voting period is extended one day, due to the Easter holiday that many celebrate.]
