Billy: You and Alby are conspiring against me LOL. I had this picked as yours at first glance and Alby with the other one. Then I was swayed by the technical evidence and switched them. Just goes to prove you should stick with your first hunch!! LMAOLOL I have mud on my face! So glad you took my error as a compliment - you are both fantastic photographers.

Congratulations Billy! For me this is a very professional image but I'm guessing the fact that you used masterful PP work hurt you in the votes. Still you have my admiration for displaying a level of skill worthy of the cover of any national magazine (the shadows are wonderfully interpretive rather than exact). Just an outstanding effort!

Hi friends :-) many thanks as usual for your nice comments, I'm happy you liked the pic!
- Jade: I feel highly honoured with such great vote for a special reason. When I had the idea for the pic (not so difficult this time, as for me is part of my "everyday things", having a long distance relationship, internet is a must for us), I felt I had to create a "Jade pic" to represent that, so this is also a little homage to your work that I like so much. Having your top vote makes me believe I did it well... many, many thanks, I feel honoured!!
(I also tried to confuse Michael, that always catches my style LOL :-D :-D :-D but when I saw your wonderful creation, I knew that was impossible... :-)
- Forkcandles: many thanks for such nice comment, glad you liked the pic! you are totally right on the map guessing :-) and I didn't know that info about the compass, thanks for sharing it!
- Lo: happy to receive another nice comment from you, I'm glad you liked it so much!!
- Michael: LOL!! well, I knew it was impossible to camouflate my pic as being Jade's one, due to her incredible creation... but at least maybe it seems to be like an Alby pic :-D :-D (I'm highly honoured also with that confusion, of course!!!) Many thanks for such nice comment, detective games apart, I found the theme very tough to make something original (what always occurs when I settle a theme :-P) and tried to stretch my imagination... I'm very happy you liked that so much!
- Franz: hallo, mein Freund!! it's always a pleasure to receive your nice comments, happy you are back again!!! :-) for my scanty PP info, this time it was made on purpose, trying to camouflate me from all the detectives all around LOL!
And don't even dare to say you don't have creativity :-D :-D you are one of the most creatives photographers all around here, just sometimes the everyday things don't leave us enough time for our hobbies... sure your mind is as creative as usual! :-)

A wonderful idea for the theme, and - hey! - what a great PP job you have done here! ...though your pp-infos are still incredibly scanty... LOL :-D
Very high on my list!
Oh, I wish I had a similar idea. Seeing entries like yours, I feel ashamed for my poor creativity and for not thinking one step further.
Hopefully this brings back my ambition.
Very well done!

Right on theme. Super composition. I am envious of your talent. Is that the beautiful blue sky over Novara ? Maybe that is what inspires such a great imagination.

This photo has been put together really well, and is a great visual representation of communication technology. The colours and clarity are superb.

a medieval map and two sony screens...... wonderful combination. the map appears to be the west coast of the north americas and the est coast of the far east and china? nice picture with the parts that need to be sharp and the soft edges to the world make it a favorite you may have noticed the compass is not for magnectic but to give indication of wind directions and destination if you follow it.

An easy no. 1 pick for me. Specifically on topic, excellent composition, novel idea, excellent PP work, great overall execution.
