That's OK. I had to put a patch on after viewing Jade's over the top pp of the Maid of the Mist. ;-) Don't you just LOVE computers :-(

Thanks for all the comments (good and bad) I had fully intended on "squaring up" this image, but my laptop went bonkers and I didn't get my software reloaded and back online quickly enough. I had just enough time to get the untouched image uploaded before the contest ended.

Sorry I made you dizzy Mepo! LOL! :-)

I'm so excited to see you back! I see everyone likes the colours in this one! This one has a high interest factor (much more than some which ranked higher probably because of the off-angle framing which I'm guessing hurt a little in the votes). Hope to see you regularly though. We need fresh perspectives and you show a keen photographic eye here. Looking forward to your next entry.

All the off angles due to convergence and perspective kind of make me dizzy. I think they detract from the image. You certainly were right on theme and I love the colours - the 'in your face' red combines well with the touch of yellow and the greens. A good colour study. In the end I found that other entries illustrated the theme a bit better.

The simplicity in this shot, I think, may cause some to overlook its fine qualities. This is a tough framing challenge to pull off but you have done well here.

I would have tried a perspective adjustment in GIMP to pull the bottom left corner and square the bottom of the frame and maybe add a little rotation to get the top and sides directly vertical and horizontal.

Lovely colours, on theme, certain to contend for a spot in my top ten picks.

I would like to have seen this straightened and cropped just eneogh to have hidden the area underneath the train ( btm lft ). But nice just the way it is. TT

Just love the colour on this one, it is what makes the shot
