This was taken withjust hours to spare and the flat colours didint help but it appears to have worked. Ididint have enough time to clone out the uprights as suggested and had cropped the the top off but redid it as the result was lop sided but thanks to those whocommented

Still love this shot. It's not just a pattern but a feeling as well - the type of English weather I don't miss at all. Well done you!

Underestimated! This shot deserves a TT spot if not a T5! One of my Favs from the many challenges I have participated in!

Some might think this a little pale but I think it reflects a cold, dank day very well. In my t5 for sure.

There's something so forlorn about park benches, and you've captured that well with the subdued colours

I like the composition with the curved lines. My top select.

There is a forlorn element to this presentation which evokes an emotive response -- which is good. The flatness of lighting enhances that. I think I would have cloned out the three vertical elements -- the pole and the tree trunks -- to bring a purity of composition which I find interrupted by the vertical elements which break up somewhat the horizontal sweep of the shot. A well conceived shot.

Well done to see the possibilities. The tree and light pole intrude into the purity of what you wanted to show, Wish they'd think of us photographers when they place stuff. LOL
