Well thanks everyone for the comments and the vote. I had used the burst system to collect frames but in the end cut up several one of shots of the various parts. I had one with a dark background but was too dark overall.
Mepo he is looking for his ship which is away until July on foreign tours.
Again thanks

A well deserved 1st place finish. Terrific idea and excellent execution. Bill and Lo sum it up best for me on this one.

definate favourite for me - took some shots of this myself but discarded them as too 'snapshot'ish. wish I had thought of this approach!!!!

I am really impressed with the way you have separated the statue and pieced it back together. It really becomes more than the sum of its parts. I find myself looking carefully at each piece rather than skimming over the whole.

Clever idea that I never considered. You effectively move the viewer's eye to each part of the sculpture that you want her to see, yet the composition stands as a whole and not fragmented. Nice use of b&w tonal quality and contrast.

Top marks for making an interpretation of the art as detailed in the challenge. You have also caught the faraway look in his eyes - he was probably wondering where he was going to get enough money to pay his bills LOL Well done - high in my picks from the start.

Good recreation of the creation, a creative effort and effect. A Black background with white frames might have made this effect abit more appealing to my eye's. None the less a great job as mentioned.
