Your treatment of this image is outstanding. The white detail against black works much better than would have the reverse. This was high on my favs list. Congratulatons. |

Spooky use of post processing. I fear and love it at the same time.
+3 for symmetry (1 vanishing point, 2 independent mirror planes necessary to build up the picture from the basic motif) |

Thanks for all the comments and votes. This is one reason I love this site - I didn't know what to do with the photo I'd taken and then I thought of what raf or Thomas might do so I flicked it to B & W and then to the negative. Then a song title came out of nowhere and I just ran with it. Thanks for the inspiration guys! |

Well done. My number 1. It reminded me, too late, that their is just such a situation in my city. (-: |

Nice idea and perspective. When I first saw this, I thought you had a really strong flash! The only detractor I see is the white flora. In my top five. Edited on Apr 16, 2012

Nice treatment of the power lines - it gives them an other-worldly look that emphasizes the perspective. |

Jade - I seem to keep hitting your aversions LOL but am happy you liked the perspective - your space invaders made me realize what I had been seeing all along! raf -Glad you liked the negative - it was a bit of a desperation move as I'd done hydro towers before and wanted something special. No preacher here - all I got is "With a boulder on my shoulder, feelin' kinda older" LOL |

a straightforward perspective treatment with the fade to infinity, The negative makes this in my view....so I exptect the weird lyrics to come to love and see "Some brimstone baritone anticyclone rolling stone preacher from the east" |

Immediately said "Space Invaders" to me (the video game). Despite my aversion to infrared imagery (which this reminds me of) this is a very effective use of perspective. |
