I know it's late but I do agree that the foreground drains away my enthusiasm.

Nice shot, good color etc and like the composition.

fc / Una/ mrsawyer I thought about this and feel the horizontal element on the bottom and the light sky added essential depth to what otherwise would be a very "flat" image taken in very flat light. And the street is part of the tarmac; planes cross over it though it is designed to confine ordinary vehicular traffic.

I'll maybe try posting the crop in outtakes.

yes this works for me as well. so much going on but the shapes and angles draw the eye across the picture
might have ledt out the lighter sky top left and the tarmac at bottom and used the yellow / white line as the base line

I like the result, but while looking at it I realized after a while that there is a part of a street like a kind of strip I maybe would have cropped away.

This certain suits the theme, as there is quite a bit of transport here! I get a distant, "detached" feeling looking at this one though. I think cropping away half of the foreground might have made this entry a little more intimate, (if you wouldn't mind changing the height/width ratio).
*edit* On my second pass through, Even with HDR, I think a lack of contrast is an issue here. This must have been a very difficult shot.
