Steven the lens was the Nikon 70-300vr. I panned with the ducks and the light was perfect for the shot.

I agree with Jade, this really should have placed higher, it is fantastic. I'd like to know what lens you used, I want my BiF shots to look like this!

Another of those entries which looked so good to me and yet didn't crack the top ten. Nice, nice capture and this really looks to me like the work of a very experienced wildlife photog mostly because of how long you'd need to be taking shots before getting this so right! You can't just expect to get shots like this!

This is very impressive. The detail and clarity of the ducks is amazing. I know how fast they move and for you to nail them like this is impressive. Nice background too.

Fantastic capture - love the angle and shapness of the wings. The grouping of the birds works very well too. Very well done - in my favourites.

the crop was tight enough. the group of three make the picture and the other birds are not needed and distracting. a good capture nonetheless

So good it is almost surreal but too grounded in reality to be anything but a truly fine photograph. I'd love to see this in original size or at least 4x larger.
