Not just an attractive effect but it's well composed too (and sharp). Well done.

You are fortunate to have the two prominent yellow-edged flowers here. They nicely provide contrast to the sea of greens and blues. Though I personally prefer less post-processing, I think the results are a worthy abstract!

Love the effect, got to experiment with this also...

Thanks for you comments. Actually the yellow flowers are very small. I focused on them because they were yellow in a field of bluebonnets. The blue edges are bluebonnets. I will post the original on outtakes in the forum.

Glowing effects works very well here, Interesting how the larger flowers ended up being highlighted so prominently

I don't like some of the photos that have just been messed up some and then called an abstract, but I do like this rendition. Nicely done, a top pick.

Pretty coloured outlines that make an attractive image.

Less successful as an abstract than the Iris closeup was. Still an attractive demonstration of filters effect.

IMO the crop should be tighter making more of the yellow flowers
looks good as a wall picture

This is appealing to me. I like that you have the two flowers than provide a focal point in the frame but enough interest all around for my eye to explore the whole frame.

O.k. so, well, you can use the edges filter in CS6, so why would I give this my vote? Because...., it's actually quite nice and nuanced and until I see so many "glowing edges filter" shots that I start to realize it is the filter and not the photographer, I'll just assume it is the photographer who made this what it is here. I like it.

Kind of funky in a way, in my top 5!
