So surprised to see this down here, abstracts are so subjective, I can never work out why some people prefer one over another, I thought this would be at least TT, oh well what do I know, lol!

I like this. The "eye" is compelling.

Yep Oldseadog, that one seasick fish looking up toward the other just got me. As the name implies this is a bucket of fish but not bait. Well I guess one man's bait is another man's food. They were catching these to eat and using a big net thrown down off a pier to drag up. It was working quite well with lots of fish in each drag up. His wife was sitting on her haunches on the pier cleaning the fish as they were caught. I couldn't understand their language but they were quite nice and we had a good interaction with them offering me photos.

The inclusion of an area in focus makes this image for me. It draws me into the composition. Good job. In my favs.

Is that a fish eye? Definitely abstract but you have some tough competition.

This is really cool, the fish feel like they are heading downwards into a sink, great motion blur, and love the beady eyes, in my top picks.

I like how this image has the feeling of a basket of fish or a fishing net. The focus point of the single, in focus, fish head is very effective and the colours appropriate for the subject.
