used jpg as raw didnt convert.
levels to get the greens
cropped to remove water suppliers outfall
resized to competion requirements
Extra Info:
this was taken at high tide 0916 gmt 1016bst height of the tide was in excess of 12.1meters. the location is the highest known tide in a commercial harbour. I know the Canucks will mention the Bay of Funday Newfoundland which does have a higher tide but not a commercial harbour. The excess water is due to the incoming wind down the gorge and the fresh water coming down due to heavy rains. we expect the highest tides soon which will be in excess of 14m. I will post in outtakes the low tide which 0.9 meteres ........
gmt is greenwhich mean time and bst is the summertime clock adjustment
the title came from an irate driver with new car and the road was flooded. she was not a local and when told it was due to high tide and said officer how often does this happen ......................

MEPO my last school report for geography was " does well to find his way home"
Mrsawyer . I hope to add original to outtakes and it was a awb setting. I was having problems in not getting both me and camera dry as there was large amounts precipitation water down the back of the neck
used a jpg as I had problems with getting the original raw file opened

Newfoundland !?? There are some folks in Nova Scotia who might be tempted to show you just how deep the tides are in the Bay of Fundy LOL

Certainly a lot of "natural" here, but not the most inviting looking water! There is a green cast to this photo. Please tell what white balance setting you used. I opened it Adobe Camera Raw and was able to play with the white balance.

Yep, you'll hear from the Canadians who will note the Bay of Fundy is in Nova Scotia.
