Jade - I'm shocked that you remember my pickles - you must be olde than I thought.
Joanna - thanks for the help - I realise I should have saved this for when we have an abstract or 'what is it challenge'.

Mepo you have asked for a comment...now that you have explained what it "is" I can appreciate the preparation involved , however my original reactions were...what is he trying to convey ? I could not find any reason, story, emotion whatever in the image... maybe chaos?
the red aspect is very understated appearing merely as a backdrop to something unknown so in my estimation low in scale for this
theme.

Yeah, I got more of a charge out of your pickles.
Now that I know what that fluid is I'm relieved to know it isn't brake fluid, antifreeze, or what have you. But pomegranate juice? Looks like a lot more than a pitcher full...

eagle1 - dead on. Dihydrogen Monoxide is the scientific name for water. If you check the web you will find some very funny scams that have been run around this term. And yes, those are ice cubes and after they melt they will eventually return to the oceans as all water does. Oleganius denotes a lubricating fluid which in this case was pomegranate juice.
After getting this placement I think I will go back to electric pickles which were far more popular LOL

I presume these are ice cubes, but your description makes them sound more like tiny sea creatures (returning to the ocean)- LOL! At first, I wasn't going to rate this very high because the red is so weak -- but after being with it for a while, I've grown to actually like this image. Very creative.

Dihydrogen monoxide? In my ocean? Well taken but with a little "What is it?" quality that the image doesn't answer.
