I assumed it was the London eye too Mepo, but no it is not. Nice work and extra points for bravery.

Glad to see you braved new heights for this and came back alive! That is the mark of a good photographer!

Well composed, bold and unusual. Could maybe use a tiny bit more contrast/darkening due to the whiteness of the clouds and the metal carriers, but still one of my top 4 faves.

Great shot - especially under the circumstances. Love the crop and the detail.

Thanks for the comments. This was a real milestone for me. I am not happy with heights or confined spaces. I willed my legs to take me there and then they shut me in by myself! It took several minutes to start looking around. when I saw the sign on the door it restored my sense of humor as I said to myself ". Not likely". My hand was shaking and I couldn't put up the tripod so I was very lucky to get this. I was braver on the way down.

the result of flying feeling you get when in a pod has been caught here. I remember the first time I went up in the eye we had some ground fog so the picture without the external viewpoints and the horizon has been well caught

A unique perspective of a well known landmark takes this a bit above the norm. A little more colour saturation even if selectively applied would help lessen the washed look.

Simple elegant composition. Good light and focus. Eye catching.

I must admit to being a bit weary of London Wheel pictures but this one is an entirely different view and much more interesting - well done.

Top five. Interesting perspective. Putting it against the uncluttered sky was a good choice.
