Extra Info:
a local museum has big boys toys to play with. the crowds have gone but the engines still have to be refilled with coal and water and now being reversed into the shed for steam down and a rest for the hardworking crew.
history note both engines built in the same city as the museum and were used as shunters for the large rail network around the docks. the engine in the foreground is in wartime colours.
and new for this year is a steam driving day....... cant wait

i wish the lampposts were not there either, but a donation of equipment cannot be turned down.
the problem of mobility stopped a better view point I did move but the engines were inside the shed by then.
the engine sheds are part of a new museum complex.and has a sloping roof!!!!

I wish that first lamp post wasn't in the way but apart from that I really like it. Love the way the smoke merges with the sky.

i like the muted colours and tones... but wonder about cropping out some of the left side so we can be closer to the train?

Doing my final voting check, and I almost missed seeing this one! You've got an unusual and interesting subject here. Technically well done, but I would have like to see more of the engine, maybe closer up, and less of the building.

What a beautiful engine. There's an almost surreal quality to the lighting. A shame about the front light standard, but it certainly isn't easy to capture a moving engine.

I sense a tilt to the left (off level) and the light standard nearest has to go to make the shot.

The light posts are so unfortunate. I'd love to see the engines without them. Saddle tank engines are some of my favourites, even in the model train world.

Would be better with more of the engine and less of the surroundings, i.e. zoom in or move closer. The light pole in the foreground is unfortunate and appears it could have been avoided by shooting from a different spot.
