Background leaf clutter at water edge is unattractive, but the birds are captured well -- just a bit of blown out white on the middle bird.

Yes it was. The lake they sit besides is about 100 acres in central London. The Queen owns it

well spotted the right hand one was on frame edge and so for balance cropped tight on the lh
this was a result of comment s during a recent challenge about framing.

Suits to the theme. Well composed otherwise, but had you to crop off the ends of tails of two of the gooses?
