Love the detail in the lemons, and the composition works well. However, the dark brown jug seems to soak up all of the attention in an otherwise soft palette.

Simple and effective subject. A very classic still-life image. One of my top favorites.

Thanks everyone for the comments, needed the jug to block that bright background :-). I did try just the lemons, but did not work imho. Will post some outtakes, maybe I'm wrong.
Mepo - Fuji lemons it is, very tasty! The one in fujimugs was my original attempt, thought it fit the theme there, so why not.

I love Fuji apples and am wondering if these are Fuji lemons? Joking aside I think the lemons would work better without the jug. They would be three instead of three plus one.

Nicely composed still life. In my favorites.

Very nice, good composition. A tad more front lighting needed I think.

I'm debating if throwing that pitcher in with the lemons was a good idea. I imagine you were attempting to create a more pleasing composition (kind of a "still life" impression), but personally I think I would have given you higher marks for following a more strict definition of "3" for this challenge - since you did have a choice.

the jug spoils this one there is a lot of skin on the lemons which may have been better to emphasis or use a clear jug
