ok, so i google'd 'dink' and not many references to a photoshopping technique. and after reading that in canada it often refers to a part of the male anatomy, i thought i should clarify. maybe it is a colloquialism from the u.s. as a verb, you might use it to ask a mechanic what he is dinking with under the hood (bonnet) when you know he doesn't really know what he's doing. also as a verb, to do something haphazardly. follow??

Nice photo and nice finish. I'm still dink confused but whatever, you've done a nice job here.

hey thanks for the comments. i did a version of this shot a couple years back but couldn't find it anywhere in my infallible filing system to figure out why this was not making me as happy. i think i should have resized or cropped tighter so the whole shot could be viewed without scrolling.
and i didn't do what i preach about viewing this on a couple different monitors before settling on this version.
and jade.... i didn't want this to look over the top symmetrical, so of course i had to use the 'dink' button to change the shape of the cloud a bit. you do have a 'dink' function on one of your photo programs, right? :)

I really like the colours and sharp focus in this shot. Nice composition and use of light too.

Nice lines, good colours and an almost seamless match. The bottom of the large cloud, however, looks odd.

Nice job of creating your own road - love the detail in the brickwork

Almost symmetrical, did you edit it that way, cool!

    Nicely executed; don't understand "dink".

I would have lightened the foreground to emphasize the brick work and interesting patterns. Did you try straightening the buildings?

Really nice job of post processing. I like your cloud, I see a face that seems to be frowning.

The pattern in the road is interesting enough on its own; a person or vehicle might distract. As it is, the buildings seem to overwhelm it a bit.

Great shot and perspective. Eye is drawn to patterned pathway which takes you straight to the brighter lit central point. In my top ten.

What a lovely symmetrical composition. I love all the bricks on the walls and the ground. The sky is perfect!

a crop of the picture so it follows the wall down small object
