Welcome to the site. Members obviously preferred your ice cream to my crab spider :-) Hope to see more of your work in the future.

Definitely got the colour pallete correct in this one, but the composition is very clumsy, you need to work on that one :-) It's also not very sharp and a little bit noisy, and blown out.

Great idea, but I think the cropped top, the tilted look, and the hazy glass cup detract from what could have been a #1 finish. Still in my favs.

I like the color and comp of you picture, but on my computer the ice cream seems slightly out of focus. It seems to me that the focus was on the stem of the bowl, not the ice cream. Often it helps after reducing your pic for display it helps to sharpen it a little.

A great idea to have the reflection of the sky in the photo, but you have cropped the ice cream too closely. What a shame since it looks so tasty:)

This was a super choice of subject for the challenge but I don't understand how you could crop off the top. I think you have a good eye for finding photos but need to pay attention to correcting the vertical tilt, removing the grain and sharpening. Beautiful, mouth watering pastels. The ice cream was the key here - I'd love to have seen (and tasted) more of it.

The colours of the icecream are right on theme. A little over exposed, and needing some straightening. Try to avoid distractions like window frames.

One of the few photos that have pastels in it so it's in my favourites. It looks like the bottom was pretty dark and you've lightened it so much that there's noise in the shadow. I would have cropped it at the bottom to eliminate it .

Well thought out and nicely exposed. I might have tried to center and straighten the image a bit but otherwise it is fine.

Had you to crop parts of the ice-cream bolls off?

I had a similar idea, but went with something else. Your image however, has lots of noise and appears a bit soft - maybe out of focus?

Good idea, but needs more attention to photo technique - focus, exposure, composition, awareness of what else is in the frame.

Good pastel colours that fit the theme but disappointing that you didn't choose a higher angle to look down on the ices and to eliminate the reflection which is superfluous. I would also exclude the window frame by moving to the left

I really love this idea and would have placed it much higher, but the focus has let you down.
