To answer your question, I'm in Toronto. Not sure where you are headed but I am fond of saying if you had to visit Canada, the four stops I'd suggest are Quebec City, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver, though many may disagree. A lot depends on timing. Calgary really means Banff and next month is getting close to the rutting season so you might see some frisky wildlife! If you want tips, just let me know when you're coming how long you are staying and where you are going.

O.k. Anita. "I now wish I had of voted in this category, much better than the open one." I wish you'd vote more often, too! I value comments but I also look to see how those whose skill I admire voted just to see what they liked and to give me a chance to critically examine how I voted. I noted I picked most of the top ten in almost the same order as the results in the Main category - which leaves me never quite sure whether that means kudos or condemnation for my taste! (With all due respect for the collective taste of the membership here. Haha!)

I knew this was shot by someone who knew what they were doing! Anyway can take a good photo of something extraordinary but take something ordinary and make it great, is the mark of a true photog. Notwithstanding the placing I still say Congrats!

You've certainly accentuated the lines leading to a VP. Well done

I love how the parallel lines are highlighted. While a somewhat over worked VP you captured it nicely.

Your PP has turned a ordinary image into something more interesting.

The bright whites in this shot make the composition, well spotted.

Nice treatment in PP and you've made something out of a nothing subject. In my top picks.

Nice image, the post processing really highlighted the white lines in the middle and the side walk. The high contrast work well.

I always like to see Winter trees. The bright white lines work well and
the tree 'tunnel' in the distance is good.
