Post-Processing:
increase vibrance, reduce noise, increase contrast a little, enhance edges
Extra Info:
Not a spider's eye magnified to cinema proportions, but the camera was on macro and was actually resting against the surface of the indicator. Because light can enter an indicator through the sides it overcame the problem of the camera blotting out the light.

Great shot - so glad you explained what we were seeing. It will be great to have another contestant in the Main challenges. Congratulations.

Great shot. It was close between this and the can in my mind. Indicators in the UK. I always try and use mine :-) .

Congrats on using your new camera so well!!! It's like having a new member, now that you've joined the main!
In the US, we call them turn signals.

In the UK they are only used as a last resort. Drivers prefer thought transfer. ......
Looking forward to seeing more of yours. Congratulations on your result.

Thanks everyone. I am stoked that my first entry with my Panasonic did well. It justifies buying it :-)
I love having the opportunity to enter the main category as well as the open, because I can try two different approaches.
I'm wondering if indicators (those blinking lights that indicate turning vehicle) have other names in other places as some expressed puzzlement.

I can't quite work out what I am seeing here but even so your shot has tremendous appeal and intrigue, is sharp and colourful and for those reasons makes my TT.

No idea what the indicator is for, but what an amazing macro shot. The colours and radiating lines make a wonderful abstract. In my TT.

Definitely one of my top favourites. It took me a while to see what it was and honestly if you didn't explain in the extra info it would have taken me a lot longer. That said, I love this image. Very strong lines and patterns the subtle colours are outstanding. Well done.

Very striking image, though I'm still not sure what I'm looking at. Something that adds a sense a scale would help.

Still not quite sure what you photographed (turning indicator of a car?) but I really like the way this came out. Very sharp, great colors and lighting.

Well done, I nearly passed this by, thinking that you had done so fancy Photoshopping. Then I read your description took another look and put it top of my list.
