PENTAX Optio W30       12th place, 46 points
1/50s, f3.3, ISO 400, 38mm, ?, Pattern, flash

Post-Processing: Cropped, sharpened, removed noise, changed the contrast, used detail blurring on the background       Extra Info: These are cosplayers at Toronto Comicon2016. They are dressed up as our friendly neighborhood Spiderman, and X-Men's own Wolverine. The mini Woverine cosplayer was of course born in the new millennium. Toronto Comicon first began as a 1 day event in 2001. Since then it has become a 3 day pop culture and comic book event, hosting unique exhibitors, workshops, and celebrity guests. Fans in attendance can dress up, or "cosplay", as their favourite fictional characters.

I'm of two minds about the idea of clearing the background. I'm thinking perhaps it would not have the same atmosphere if you did. I had the same dilemma with mine. Loved the shot.

Great action shot, and from the EXIF I can imagine that the lighting was pretty tricky. Well done to get such a clear and colourful shot.

This is marvellous! are we sure the kid in yellow is making a pose or just finding out there is a bug of some kind in his costume!??

Nice capture of the comics figures, with good color and composition. Too bad about all the disembodied legs.

Made me smile! You captured a perfect moment here... pity about all the other feet in the background. without them this would have been perfect!

This is soooo good I'd do all the work needed to clear that background...really I would.

One of my top picks from first viewing. Love the colour, the action and the composition. The extra info is interesting and informative, but perhaps also a good example of why it should all be hidden until after the vote. I look at this as a triangular composition. I think the inclusion of the yellow carpet stripe is an important factor in making it such an attractive photo. Kudos!
