I like the subject and the b&w treatment. I would have preferred a bit softer contrast and maybe a bit of toning. Still, a favorite.

A lovely photo portraying rule of thirds very well. The B&W has introduced a sameness to everything. Perhaps the couple was lost in the colour version; in that case, I think the B&W needs a bit more contrast.

The couple stands out nicely among all the trees. In my TT.

this has a frontier look about it
like the composition the black and white works well

Very nice - like how the couple are spotlighted in the ideal Rule of Thirds spot. Might consider some vignetting to vary the tonality more in the rest of the scene.

Taking photos this time of day, on a sunny day, in a wooded area is always a challenge. It creates these spots of highlights all over the photo which takes away from the subject. Compositionally I think the people could have been a tad up higher in the frame, but getting lower to the ground would have probably been a better option to do that, instead of just pointing the camera up higher.

Your subjects are pretty small and are in the shadows. You might have caught them in one of the sunny breaks in the canopy, cropped a little tighter so that largest tree is not so central in the frame. It is so large and bright that it really draws the eye from the people.
