Thank you all for your helpful comments.
When I was there a photo from the other side was impossible facing the sun.
I was as close to the ground as I dare go Mepo!
Night time - fantastic but again not possible.

Great composition - you've positioned yourself perfectly to include all of the arches as well as both pedestrian and bicycle traffic.

A difficult subject to capture; however, you did it nicely. I wonder if a night view would have been more dramatic?

I like the bridge shapes although I do find the two blocks in the foreground puzzling. They must impede the flow of people - I can't imagine why they would design it without a clear path. Not that this has a negative bearing on the photo. They add a bit of interest. I do like the people in the shot as well, far better than a 'clear' structure. They add life to the photo. I find the black background distracting. Perhaps a shot from ground level might be better.

Great arch, great distracting people...maybe..or maybe they add perspective. The only real critique I have is the shot is overexposed...quite a bit I think, though I am certain it is probably true to life. It's a personal thing, but I'd like this one less washed out.

It feels to me like something is lacking but can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe too much sky at top. The bridge is nicely composed.

Very interesting bridge and good subject for this theme. It is unfortunate that the building behind the bridge has so many busy lines that compete with the lines of the bridge. The telephoto focal length that you used has the effect of compressing the foreground and background together. I think a shorter focal length might have been better to give the image more depth and cause the building in the background to recede into the distance. I wonder whether the view from the other end of the bridge would have been cleaner. I suspect the bridge might be lighted at night and that would make a really interesting shot and the bridge would standout nicely..
