Post-Processing:
A proprietary plug in conversion to black and white, plug in detail enhancement, plug in stylization, tint, image size.
Extra Info:
These huge chickens adorn the front of a poultry farm called Happy Hens. The perches are quite tall in themselves and sit on concrete blocks but I've cropped this all down to the bare minimum because the foreground posts and wire are not exactly attractive.

Thanks for all comments.
How big? I can't give measurements but the fence I avoided in front is pretty much a standard farm fence height and the perches are way taller. My guesstimate would be that the chickens reach a height of about 20 feet.

How big are those chickens? Good finish! Congrats!

Good subject and composition but I don't think your pp software helped. The trees have an artificial look and the whites are blown. These birds are hilarious.

Like this one much better than your blue version.

These chickens make me laugh. I keep thinking of the Wallace and Grommit videos that I have seen. Using B&W was an excellent choice, and your pp treatment really has these chickens outstanding in their field.

I laughed when I saw your happy hens as well as giving a sigh of relief. I knew of these and had planned a trip to take them but didn't have time. Your photo is excellent. I know the lower background is messy but it would have given a better idea of the height and size of these chooks. I think I can guess whose entry it is.

I get the idea, but the exposure and/or the perspective does not give me a sense of how big these chickens are.

This time I like more the colored version.

I keep wondering how huge are these odd things? Really a great and fun find. And they do look big. Very high in my TT.

your cropping is to be commended. the picture is the chickens and the great sky behind and not fences and concrete
a minor point did they consult the chickens before deciding on the farm name ????????????????

Nice composition, but without your description, I don't get a good feel for the size of the chickens. Contrast is a bit too strong for my taste.

I would have to take your word that they are huge chickens. Nothing really puts their size in perspective. Very dark tonality that I would lighten up.
