Jul 13, 2016		     I believe there is a time and place for blown highlights as there is for dense black shadows. With all the pp we have available we get carried away with insisting that everything has to be in moderation. What a depressing thought. If you did not have the blown highlights here I think you would have lost a lot of impact.

Kudos on a photo that exemplified the bright sun shinning through the trees to a place where a family could stroll through and enjoy it.

Everything in moderation, especially moderation itself.

Jul 10, 2016		     A lovely, bucolic view of people dwarfed by nature. Nice tone and contrast. It reminds me of a similar shot that I got at Yosemite in the winter some time back. I think it did well here. Hope yours does also! TT.

alternative would have been a much harder crop which would have spoilt

Jul 8, 2016		     Beautiful scene, the little group of people give a nice sense of scale. My only regret is the in my taste exagerated glare intensity.
