thanks for the explanation by Mepo.
the reason for the image is that desperation had set in as I did'nt have an entry for te challenge and was off to the dockside to see what animals were about with xmas decorations on collars.
saw this waving around and grab the picture
sadly no xmas dogs so this was uploaded
i also prefer mepo's suggestion

Bernie: When you live by the sea you often see strange objects drifting by the jetty. It can be very amusing. Often you see only the topmost bit of what is floating by while the bulk of the object is hidden from sight. One time I saw only the upper portion of a rather portly lady in a bent over position. Closer examination showed she was bent over painting the roof of a canal houseboat (long and narrow) as it drifted by.
In this case, fc has imagined that Noah's Ark is drifting by and has put up the oar as an antenna to improve the wifi on the boat.
You have to excuse fc's weird sense of humour - I think he inherited it from his Uncle who was banished to the colonies many years ago in part due to his sense of humour showing a marked lack of deference to the established aristocracy.

I can see this could be humorous, especially if you had never seen one before and it went drifting by on the tide.

I had tried that but made it look odd as it was long and the oar was short
the oar is about 15 feet long

Interesting that the reflection echoes the oar. Might be good to crop at the top of the far wall to remove the distraction of the cars.
