There's something almost fairy tale about this entryway. Just love it. Congratulations.

Congrats. Obviously you chose your frame well.

    Wow, thank you everyone!!

Several of you suggested I crop out the sky, but I felt that was part of the frame, and it balanced out the lighter fence to the lower right. I also loved the green and yellow leaves against the white sky.

mrsawyer - Yes! These were shot on the same outing. Not at all what I had in mind for a subject, but it just turned out this way. Lucky me.

Qixil - The red thingy is a cute little birdhouse and I thought it might add a bit of color to otherwise muted overall colors.

Congrats Ysal! Did you find this while walking around where you found the flower? Congrats on your double top ten.

Lovely frame and charming cottage. If I knocked on that door I might expect Snow White to come out. Top 5.

I think this looks better if you crop all the sky out. Ilike the natural frame of the branches a lot. I'm guessing this looks stunning in the summer.

Nicely spotted and photographed. The natural archway provides a very welcoming entrance to the doorway.

Such a welcoming frame. Would love to be invited inside this fairy tale house.

Very nice... like the muted colors.. I might have cropped out the bright sky down to the top of the roof line. up there in my TT

A good capture; a weather-worn cottage with nice greens and browns. I bet it looks great when the arch is in leaf. In my TT.

    Nice view. In my favorites.

Well spotted. A lovely example of framing as well as a pretty picture.

I really like the muted colours of this one, and the asymmetry of the frame - the combination of curves and straight lines - great image. The frame really draws you into the photo - in my TT.

An attractive scene, interestingly framed. If the door were slightly ajar, it might add a bit of intrigue and interest.

Great composition - gets my vote. Lots of interest - but could do without that red thingy on the right.
