Post-Processing: Cropped, Increased saturation which made the light in the fringes of the hair more pronounced. Cloned out some distracting fencing in the background. Increased blur in the background.       Extra Info: Taken just minutes before sunset.

Feb 26, 2017		     EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT. In my opinion, the pic is well balanced and very natural. I love the candidness of the photo. It doesn't seem as if you staged the shot. If you did, I'm happy you didn't ask them to straighten their sweater. Awesome job Mr. Sawyer. Couldn't have done better myself.

Feb 21, 2017		     Thanks all! My model was too shy to have her face on the web, thus the pose. By tilting her head forward a bit, it accentuated the interaction of light around the edges of the hair.

Feb 17, 2017		     Good contre-jour example, especially with the halo in the hair. Nice colors in the figure and background, but the slightly bent-forward pose make me think she'e looking at her phone.

Feb 17, 2017		     I LOVE this shot! To me, this epitomizes "Backlighting". Love what the light did to the lady's hair. The only distraction is the wrinkles in the lower part of her sweater. I think it can be fixed by cropping just below her shoulder blades.
