mrsawyer, the pose was just what it was. I don't know this guy and didn't draw his attention. Back pack? That's for him to know. I think your suggestion to remove the darker blue at the top is a good one. It looks better that way for sure.

Apr 24, 2017		     A peaceful-looking place, but the pose of the subject seems off. I am left wondering, "why is he wearing a backpack while fishing?" Did you consider cropping the top of the photo to remove the blue that appears above the overexposed reflection? I think it may enhance the feeling of solitude. Still in my favs.

Apr 23, 2017		     Lovely shot. Nothing like fishing for a little solitude! The bird on the dock is a nice extra touch and gives the shot a useful depth reference. In my favourites.

Apr 23, 2017		     I know so many people who use the solitude of fishing to de-stress from their busy lives. The relaxed stance says it all. The sitting bird seems to confirm the peace and quiet of the lake.

Apr 22, 2017		     Great shot. Fishermen and photographers often spend a lot of time alone. You have certainly captured it nicely. I am not sure the bird helps.
