    thanks for the comments.

I agree with you all that the lighting is not great. I was trying to balance the exposure and then extensive post processing left it a bit flat. might have needed a white balance tweak warmwards?

Robert - ideally i'd have waited for better angled light, but I wasn't there long enough to see - and I think it would have been swept away by the tide by dusk anyway...

Ysal - I agree, the piled rock sculptures ("inuksuk" ?) do seem to be everywhere (no bad thing) ... but i'd not seen one like this.

Some of my favourites were on the shore in Malmo, Sweden, a few years ago. I'll upload some to a public gallery.

What an unusual structure. Rather flat lighting sadly but could not be helped. I see quite a few bricks, breeze blocks and roof tiles? so not really 'rocks/stones'. I think it would score higher if more of the pieces were obviously natural.

Right on theme. A bit subdued, but I suspect that was the light that you had to work with. How was the image early in the morning or at dusk?

A good example of playfulness at the beach. Good choice for the theme.

Quirky construction and appealing. a little more light on the rocks would have been better but still in my TT.

Interesting, if temporary, sculpture. It looks pretty precarious and I hope children do not get a chance to investigate it too closely. No doubt the sea will demolish it before long.

I love these piled rock art which seem to be popping up everywhere. It must be pretty tricky to build. I like your colors here, the rocks stand out nicely against the blue background.
