I had this higher in my picks (though somehow my votes didn't tabulate) so I expected it to rank closer to the top. Congrats.

This was my #3, such an artistic shot. I really love it.

Congrats on 9th place. I really, really like this.Although it was my number 2 pick, I didn't find it easy to choose between it and my number 1 (which ended up 2nd).

nicely captured and a clever way to store thread, in my favorites...my personal tastes go towards bright colors I may have tried a touch of saturation, although the yellow looks bright, possibly these a pastel.

I love this! Although I know perfectly well what it is, it is a beautiful abstract. Beautifully composed/arranged, and I love all those loose threads. Top 2.

An unusual and colourful shot, which really works well.

Just love all the colours here well captured and glad you didn't go for a symmetrical composition. In my TT.

Neat concept - like how the one bright white spool slightly pops out to provide a center of interest.

Attractive, colorful image, and I like how it's cropped.

I think the use of negative space is what makes this shot, small as the negative space is, and a great contrast to the riot of colour. The box edge helps frame the subject and the diagonal line add a sense of dynamism to a static image. Very well done. My only critique is the background. Suitably dark to help frame and not distract, it is also textured, which is a huge distraction. For that reason this probably gets bumpe dout of my number 1 position. Maybe it will be number 2. (Love the loose threads, makes it real and orients the viewer to know the box is set on the vertical).

Love it. The kind of subject I always wish I run into. I probably walk right past it, however.

Wonderful idea and a great eye to "see" this image. I imagine that there were a myriad of angles to use. Thus I am surprise that the picture is so sharply cut off on the right hand side. Maybe this was intentional. Just curious.

Interesting shot. There really isn't much negative space though. I might even prefer it framed more tightly to fill the frame with just the colored yarn spools.
