Extra Info:
Using three elements encourages the imagination to invent a story
I like to think they're swans in disguise... but have no idea what the avian equivalent of anthropomorphism is...
I combined two photos from the same shoot in order to enhance depth of field

thanks everyone for their comments and votes. I'll certainly consider the issues such as alignment, lighting angle.
RobertLavker - I tried using in-camera focus stacking but for some reason it was coming out really dark... still getting to grips with my g80

Nice, uncluttered composition. I love the pop of red against the white. Combining two shots is a good way to get the depth of field the way you want it. (Thanks for the tip.)

The suitor looks a bit tense while the happy couple are relaxed. The stalks add poignant symbolism. Bravo.

I was going to vote for this until I saw you had combined two photo, which I don’t like.

These swans are certainly well disguised! I like the humour. Well lit and arranged.

Great subject and colors. My only nit is that the 3 peppers are little too horizontally aligned.

At first viewing this image pops... the white background makes that happen but also (for me) makes it look a bit sterile. like this... high in my favorites.

Interesting still life abstract. I think the asymmetry makes this image. I am curious why you did not use focus stacking to achieve the same depth of field? Nonetheless, a great entry for this challenge.

Aviopomorphism? A very direct interpretation of the theme. The red is lovely. The composition is good. The lighting is so even that the image seems to have little depth and is a bit characterless.
