Davemisunas - The marine layer is visible air, also known as pollution! There are also some trees under there. On bad days, the city is not visible at all.

I didn't think this one would be voted highly, but wanted to share the unique cloud formation. I've never seen such, before, nor since. I didn't want to process the clouds, lest people think that I conjured them up myself. So left them as they were.

interesting sky... the composition is very nice but the marine layer softens the skyline a bit to much... makes me want to clean my glasses :-)… still a nice image.

Nice try, too much sky for me, would had cropped to isolate the city & clouds, but might had lost all details & produced a lot of noise doing so.

Nice shot. Intriguing how the city seems out of focus when viewed from a distance, yet it's really not.

Very interesting cloud formation, indeed. A bit more contrast may bring out more drama.
