1/80s, f4, ISO 200, 28mm, Normal Program, Pattern, no flash
 
Post-Processing: Added man from a photo taken later in the day. Adjusted levels to darken main photo. Selective burning around feet and legs.       Extra Info: Two exposures. Turns out, the quarry is to the right.

Aug 13, 2019		     While I was shooting a passerby came along and I thought a person in the frame would add to the photo. So on my way back home I stopped and took a picture of myself standing between the tracks. However, the lighting had changed quite a bit, and the POV was radically different, which made adding the person a bit of a challenge.

For me, the human figure detracts from the image significantly - they are not needed (your title poses the question) and distract the viewer.

Aug 9, 2019		     The man appears to be floating. I think if you had added a shadow of him that could help. I see that this is not a mirror image, taken at two different locations? I really like the contrast between the curved rails and the straight tree trunks.

Aug 9, 2019		     This is a great example of curves including the tracks and the trees. I also like the subject as it conveys indecision. I have often found myself in the same situation and can easily relate. In my TT's.
