Congrats on your top finish! This is a dizzying view, and the "false stairs" are a bonus.

Congrats - I figured this would be #1. Love the way you almost have a false set of stairs included.

    Thanks all for the comments!

breadmaker - it isn't too difficult in reality! I have another angle which I'll post in outtakes, maybe that will help...

carrie46 - apologies for the vertigo!

ysal - it is the Tate Britain art gallery, in London, UK - the original one in Pimlico, not the Modern one opposite St. Paul's. This is the view from the lower ground up to the ground floor - the space goes up for another two levels to a dome... it is a beautiful space and I'm surprised I've not used it for Panachallenge before!

aoc46 - i only took 3 pictures (I had gone to view the Aubrey Beardsley exhibition, so only had my mobile with me) so don't have one that would show the lines joining at the bottom. I did think of a closer crop on the left and top, but decided that the picture actually needed the extra space.

JadeO - Hadn't thought about cloning out that pillar - but wonder if removing it would be confusing as it is the most obvious 'vertical' line, so gives context to the viewer.

Good one! Very confusing and abstract. Excellent use for the technique.

Definitely a good candidate for a Dutch Angle shot - The use of B&W really emphasizes the architecture.

Vertigo assured. This made me feel a bit sick!

Great shot. I love all the curves and details here, and dutch angle works very well for this.

One glance at this and I have that totally confused expression trying to work out what leads where and how do I get up to that pillar! That means you're spot on the challenge theme and my top pick

What is this place, it's so gorgeous! And you photographed it perfectly.I would have struggled to compose this but you got it just right..

You certainly have achieved your intent of abstraction, though it's a little busy for my taste. To enhance the abstraction, I'd want to adjust the crop so the top and left curves are actually tangential to the borders and, if possible, extend the bottom just enough to show the two lines joining.

My top pick. I love the abstract aspect of this and the way the shape fits into the space. The smaller shapes within keep the eye interested.

This works almost completely for me. I just wish the pillar wasn't there. I would have cloned it out. Very high in my picks.
