Post-Processing: Topaz Studio 2 filter. Increased levels. Dodged surfer.       Extra Info: Beautiful clouds making sunlight patches on the water. All within COVID distancing guidelines. My heart goes out to those who have governments locking them inside. How much more healthy these people will be (physically and mentally) after a day outdoors with nature compared to being locked in manmade structures with manmade air systems.

Sep 23, 2020		     This was my #1 favourite in this challenge. I think it is a great photo and it fit the challenge well.

Sep 22, 2020		     I very happy that some of you liked this. I'm a big fan of Monet and admire his use of shadows (no shadows are black). I felt the shadow of the cloud increased the depth of the photo. I did take some in full sun but they were not as good.

This was an amazing day. It was great to be with so many people relishing their freedom; most respecting COVID boundaries. I'm now able to get my shots displayed on a site where surfers can see themselves in action. It's usually hard to make contact with them. From this beach, when the wind is right, they can travel in a straight line 5K (3 miles) or more across the provincial boundary and up the Ottawa river. I'll put some other shots in the outtakes.

Sep 22, 2020		     I knew this was yours and I thought it was the best of the bunch of your parachute surfers so far. It is perfectly composed which is amazing for such a dynamic scene. And how more than one photo of water with bubbles in it beat out this entry is something for the psychologists to figure out....

Sep 18, 2020		     Excellent composition, but more light is needed in the foreground and there is a lack of sharpness overall. With so much land, sky, boats and kite, the scene seems more about sport than water.

Sep 17, 2020		     Just about perfect composition to my eye and richly populated. My only quibble is the star subject figure is of high interest but in the shade. Nice you left lots of room for him to move into.

Sep 17, 2020		     could agree more, I consider myself lucky where I live as there is virtually no foot traffic and can be outside. even the the fact I live in a city the few times i have shopped the local bus is like a taxi to me
