many thanks for the comments and points much appreciated The soft look is provided in this case by a black 15 denier tights stretched over the prime lens. I agree the bottom should be cropped but didn't want to emphasis the chimney pots |

Don't understand the title but the composition almost works for me. I think the subject is the nicely lit building but I think a tighter crop (slice off the bottom third of the frame) is called for as, for me, the building is almost lost in this image. |

I appreciate your problem finding a subject during these trying times. I think this could be improved my cropping out some of the dark foreground and sharpening up on your focussing. |
