Thanks to everyone. 'out of fucus', the answer about pp is that I used my normal sharpening for web on the whole photo. I took four shots before they flew away and this was the only one where the eye was so sharp.

A nice example of the benefits of RoT in composition, and a nice pic also, I like a lot the shallow DOF that helps to reinforce the bird... nice pic, in my T5, good luck!!

Lovely bird and the background is beutifully captured to echo the bird colours but return our focus to the subject.

Good shot. Great application of rule of thirds. Nice choice of f stop, blurred the background perfectly.

Just lovely, an overall greyness but the vitality of the birds posture and eye enlivens it.

OH These birds are very territorial! Good idea to keep you cam handy as this is an excellent capture. TT GL!!

The photo is very good.. the background superbly exposes the otherwise colorless mocking bird. The eye is so sharp. Did you PP the eye ?

Beautiful capture of this mockingbird. Good detail and composition. Well done.

The lighting on the eye and head is perfect, but the rest of the bird looks unsharp and the foreground is only partially successful in setting up the subject; I find the foreground is a little distracting because it takes up so much real estate on the surface of the image though it does really anchor this bird to something solid.

Very nice application of the rule of thirds. Easily my #1.
