Wow, first place. Thank you all for the wonderful comments, and of course your votes. You are the folks that make this so much fun, enjoyable, worthwhile, etc.

And a special thank you to my wife who had the courage to take the picture. Thankfully she also had headsets on to cut down on the shrill of the saw.

great pic for the theme, really like his expression, a mix of concentration and being disturbed by the flying pieces of wood... nicely done, my #2, good luck!

A very good study of concentration and the airborne sawdust interacts nicely with the stillness of the operator. TT

great shot, I love the concentration on the face, and the composition, more than makes up for the less than ideal iq and conditions.

The facial expression makes this photo special. I can almost feel sawdust in my face too. Good use of flash. Please tell if you bounced or filtered the flash.

Both the composition and the fine facial expression make this shot for me. In my TT.

This is a stand out image in this challenge. I like the sawdust flying and the angle you chose for the capture. Nice work.
