Post-Processing: Cropped, noise reducted, histogram, levels,USM, resized, see more in extra info       Extra Info: The moon came out hazy because of some fog in the air. So, a bit later I took a pic of the moon itself and copied it on the foggy moon. Had to play a bit with the histogram and colours to get the new selection to fit to the pic. Used some clone tool too to clean the borders of the selection

Oct 10, 2009		     Not sure your moon PP was entirely successful. Like the shot though.

Oct 8, 2009		     I think it you are going to add a moon to such a crisp shot, you should ensure the moon is a sphere with clean edges. Here there remains a halo around the moon which detracts from the shot. I'd try getting rid of the halo and tinting the moon to blend in with the other colours in the image. The image is otherwise excellent except appears to me to be lacking a little in sharpness or slightly out of focus. Some might argue the highlights are too blown but I think it works here.
