Thanks again Jade O. Looking forward to the next photo contest that can accommodate a macro image. I lean more toward those than the smaller scale subjects.

I like both your entries. This shot is classically simpler and very well executed technically, but I think the flower was also a superior shot.

Thanks Mepo, I thought it was one of my better efforts. I boiled one finger trying to get this just right!

I thought this wold finish much higher. Still love it. All is not wasted - perhaps Franz will try one and find he likes them.

Nice idea, and of course very yummy :-) I would have been tempted to raise saturation a bit in reds, to add more "pop" to the flame. But still a nice pic, TT for me, well done :-)

Neat idea - we love toasting marshmellows so this one made me smile.

I love the texture, the colour and the red hot glow. My top pick.

Beautifully taken, and mouth-watering, too. Definitely in my TF

My wife loves roasted marshmallows, especially burned ones. This one resulted in a slightly burned finger!

    Yummy! What a fantastic idea.
But do they really have to burn that much? I've never had one yet. Am I missing something?

I like the framing, colouring, exposure, and humour. I'm especially impressed that you managed the dynamic range without blowing highlights or losing details in the shadows.
