The moss grew where you see it. The Lady Bug I had to pick up, cool down (in the fridge for a bit) and then drop onto the moss where is ambled a bit long enough at least for the photo.

Cute shot, nice use of monochromatic background. I just wonder if it would have been better without the light part along the top.

Well composed, with great DOF. I like the texture in the moss and stones, but find the bright background draws my eye away from the subject.

great find for the challenge but the crop tool would have a better view of the ladybird. remove all of the grey except the top behind the bug

Love it. The burnt out white on the top is a bit strong, but that is a minor thing. Well done.

This is a great capture that I think might be improved with a tighter crop to exclude some of the background that i find slightly distracting.

Cute as a bug - I like the interplay of the rounded shapes. Would prefer a tighter crop - all that gray gravel doesn't add much.

Funny and well taken. Not a fan of the stones (the moss seems out of place), nor the horizon which doesn't add anything. The ladybug and the moss alone make a great crop.

Good mix of colors, focus, and lighting. What kind of lens did you use to get the horizon to curve like that? Or is that the edge of a sidewalk or driveway? Nicely done!

Like the DOF like the effect of the triple spheres or curves.
