thanks for taking a look and commenting. i'll have to find a shot of the other rings in the family. my son and his wife have the most recent... only a few years on them and the fingerprint impressions are still very defined.

What an interesting and clever design for a ring! The cloth the rings are sitting on seem to have different colors and texture which I find a bit distracting.

Interesting history, you certainly have unique rings. Well shot and presented, using the dark cloth as a base is a plus and the faint ;light in the background works very well.

Very nice, like the subtle details in the background.

What a beautiful tradition. Nicely composed and exposed.

Very interesting subject and the lighting was handled well and DOF is good. What bugs me is that is doesn't appear to be as sharp as I would imagine. Did you use a tripod?

Very elegant presentation of the two rings. Especially like the subtle blues in the dark background.

Charming family tradition , I find the shapes beautiful too, reminiscent of ancient primitive jewellery.

Nice lighting and well presented. Front portions of the right ring are a bit soft of focus - but that's the challenge of macro small DOF imagery. I like the light coming down from above on the right, and feel you could even have made that more pronounced for a more impactful image. All in all, still in my top favorites.
