Post-Processing: resized for entry otherwise sooc       Extra Info: the dominant swan has noticed another male swan near his mate and that is a no no.
had it been in the mating season there would have been a serious fight. as it was the other male swam away and flapped a lot

I was wondering what happened to all your EXIF info? I just saw in the forum that this was extracted from 4K video.

Your comments are appreciated. The tight crop is intentionAl
This taken with boats behind and the arse of intended getting closer.
If there had been more space it would made itself larger and kept it's head and neck bent ready to strike.

Great action shot - love the movement of the water

I like the motion in wings but for this to be totally effective, the head needs to be sharp, and in this image the head is hidden in the shadows. I feel the crop is also a little tight. I think you depict the anger well here and maybe the crop adds to the feeling, for that... well done.

A bit blown out in the white of the feathers causing loss of detail. You didn't mention cropping under post processing, but you did so it's not strictly SOOC. Don't know if you cropped the top or bottom, but the wing ideally would not intersect the frame.

this swan is very protective and his speed is nearly between V1 and V2 in pilot talk. nearly fast enough for take off but not quite there,
just prior to Christmas this year the vet had all the male swans out of the water to give then a health check and this tipped the scales at 32lbs. the females are kept away in another part of the dock and also checked over.

I would back down from this bird in a big hurry! Very impressive sense of action, well positioned in the frame for maximum effect. The splashing water is perfect. Good capture.

Very well frozen and yet the wings seem to have a slight blur to them. Makes me wonder how quick they were moving.
