"Pana" is for....       ©2016 ysal
Panasonic DMC-GX7       19th place, 39 points
1/639s, f6.3, ISO 250, 200mm, Normal Program, Pattern, no flash
Post-Processing: Cropped, cloned out a wire, one of the letters had damage so cleaned that up, adjusted color saturation, adjusted exposure and contrast, sharpened, resized.       Extra Info: This is one of their corporate offices in my neighborhood. They used to hold photography classes there but stopped shortly after I took up photography :-/ The lighting was not ideal, but it is too far away to make another drive out so this is it.

Thanks Bernie, I really appreciate that. We are obviously kindred spirits :-)

Yuki, your entry has the dubious honor of being the lowest ranked photo that I voted in my top ten. How could the other members have been so wrong???? :-)

Like the clean simplicity. and it most certainly addresses the the theme.

Perfect find for this challenge. I might have thought that there would be several "Panasonics" in this challenge. Well done.

I might have filled the screen with the building and sign or tried a different angle but I wasn't there so I don't know what options you had.

SteveBee - As to why I bothered to shoot, let alone enter, such a boring shot: It seemed like a good subject at the time but when I got home and realized it was not what I expected, I didn't have time or ideas for another shot. I entered it anyway in the spirit of participation.

Thank you for your constructive criticism.

You're right about it being to far to drive out for another shot. Panachallenge aside would you ever have taken this image or consider it interesting in and of itself? If not, then why even walk across the street to take it.

Fits the challenge and the website itself. I think I'd shoot this without the sky.
