Almost a year later ... Good eye Robert! How did you know he'd win???

Great shot. In my favourites (though I wish the sign said something else).

I have a couple of images of this building from this angle... I like the buildings skyline in the reflection.

Beautiful detail & clarity in your capture.

I like what the blue hour does for this photo. It's light enough to capture the reflections of the other buildings, but not overpower the soft golden glow of the lights. Well done.

Is it a political view". In my favorites.

Striking image - ultra sharp despite the 6 sec exposure - you must have a good tripod. My only niggle is the lack of perspective correction top right. Could this be taken by an aficionado of the Blue Hour :-) It's certainly an excellent example of that technique. High in my picks. Kudos!

on theme with a "P" in the picture.
do they change the name should he win to "chief"
nice lines on building with little distortion on the edge ?

Well done, regardless of how one feels about the subject matter. Like the lighting and reflections in the windows. I find the wall (if that's what it is) in the lower left a bit distracting.

Not wild about the foreground bridge rail or whatever but the shot of the building is quite nice and sharp.

Very nice building shot, pretty colors and lighting. The letter P stands out nicely too.

Very topical. The corner of the building is just off vertical and a bit more skew on the top right could fix that. good detail, nice colours, in my T5.

Buildings never grab my attention but this is an interesting image and certainly fits the theme.

I think there was a lot more photographic potential here than was realized with this particular composition. The lighting is very good. But I find the squarish crop unnatural for the subject and indecisive with respect to whether you want to emphasize the horizontal lines or the vertical lines in the image. You could perhaps go either way, but not square.

there always seem to be trade offs when applying some pp techniques. the column nearest to the viewer seems to take a different angle than the edge of the building above it. i've struggled with straightening things and have pretty much decided on shots like this to try to keep the edge nearest the viewer as straight up and down as possible and let the other lines fall where the will. most lenses are going to show sloping or curvature towards the edges anyway.
