Thanks for the comments. Google has been testing these for some time on the streets around here. I agree with Jade that a pan would have been better, but with no fore-knowledge of when or where I might spot them, I was forced to grab shots when I could. They also have some cute little two-seaters; what I really wanted was a picture of one of those but never was able to be in the right place at the right time. (More about their project can be seen at https://www.google.com/selfdrivingcar/ .)

good one for the adjusted theme
the face of future driving as long as the computer doesn't try to replicate my driving skills in a car.
we could have a discussion that the car should be taken going left to right but i assume north america where the oncoming traffic is on the left
good colour as car stands out in background

I think a self-driving car would be a bonus around here, considering some of the local drivers. Do you push the big button to make it go?? LOL. Nice capture, and certainly on theme.

Good find, interesting. I wonder how far into the future this will actually happen!

Good choice for the challenge theme. Sometimes I wish I had one of these but I keep remembering that story about the first airline flight without any crew. Once they got off the ground the computer came on the PA system to congratulate the passengers for being on the first ever pilotless passenger flight. It finishes by saying that they should not have any worries because nothing could go wrong. . . go wrong. . . go wrong . . .

Surprisingly static despite the blur in the wheels. I think a pan, though more difficult, would have served better. Well framed and exposed otherwise.
