1/50s, f2.8, ISO 800, 121mm, Aperture Priority, Pattern, no flash

Post-Processing: From RAW, denoised, slight straightening and crop, layers to blur background and make subjects more prominent, minor cloning.       Extra Info: The local constabulary was holding an open house with all kinds of games for children to try. These three reminded me of the children in the Ravensburger jigsaw puzzles we used to make.

What cuties!I think it would have been better with the people removed from the background as there is already so much happening in the photo.

I found out that the artist of the Ravensburger puzzle that we completed at Christmas is Pauline Paquin, a Canadian artist from Quebec who is well known for her paintings of children. She doesn't use features to define her subjects, relying on colours and toques and helmets to give character. The link is https://www.amazon.ca/Canadian-Artist-Pauline-Paquin-Ravensburger/dp/B00AAP9TO8

In my favorites, could not fade background?

Good action-picture. Did you try to copy off those adults from the background?

Lovely moment, concentration is key! The figure in the background distracts a bit. I am not sure the motion blur is in the right places to be effective.

Nice candid of kids enjoying a challenging activity. I like the look of concentration.

Thanks JadeO - I purposely kept the angle high, as I didn't want to draw attention to myself. AOC I tried to remove the background using ReMask and layers, but was unhappy with the result. I decided to leave the parents in the background and blur them slightly.

Cute kids - like the way they're concentrating on putting their feet in just the right places. The truncated adults behind are a distraction.
