Crystal clear and sharp shot capturing a fine, typical owl expression. Composition is right on theme. A favorite.

I really like the main subject, bird and tree, but the kind of dirty blur of the background really bothers me. Would have preferred to whole image in focus.

Great photo of the owlet, perfect DOF - I love the expression - and it's right on theme. My only complaint would be that I would like to see more of him, ie. a tighter crop.

Really like this shot, the owl is nicely framed and lit, and good 1/3 placement. Great expression on him too!. In my top picks.

This owl family (two adults, two owlets) are the most photographed owls in Minnesota.
They live in a tree near one of Minneapolis's city lakes.
The police have set up a perimeter to keep people about 50 feet from the nest.
As for processing, not much going on.
The shot was taken in the afternoon with the sun behind me.
I lightened the shadows a small amount, darkened the highlights some, some crop, added a bit of a vignette.
Nothing to exotic with this one.

Nice capture of the owl. Might prefer a slightly tighter crop and stronger color.

He/She had got her eye on you, or is she looking coy. Well captured and on theme.
