Had no idea this was in Bristol - the buildings look far too modern :-) Seriously - I liked the pp treatment but perhaps a little less contrast.

The years and years of layered discussions can be heard by looking at this photo, it captures history in the most beautiful way!

Lots of mood, even the noise / grain works. I do get the feeling that things seems a bit tight. I am not sure what the focal point is though... these are one of those scenes where everything plays almost an equal part. In my favourites.

The b&w processing was a very good choice. Great shot!

Nice shot, but I don't quite see the 1/3....

Application of the Rule of Thirds is can be seen here, though it's rather subtle. I guess the B&W treatment was intended to suggest age, but I'd prefer seeing the rich colors and textures of the tile roofs and half-timbering.

nicely done. I can "feel" the age, particularly since you highlight it well with PP. Nice example of eye being drawn to a 1/3rd region with a balanced composition

this is a collection of some of the oldest buildings in Bristol known as Christmas steps with Tudor framing at the bottom right up to the top with Victorian look alike in the alms houses
the picture was only possible recently as a new building behind the photographer had a new steps entrance and this lifted the view point above the busy street.

this is the list of pp work
